Clare McDonald (Category A A.C.P.A.T, PG Dip (Vet Phys) BSc (Hons) MCSP, HPC Reg) graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1994 from Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh attaining a BSc Honours degree. This was followed by two years working within the N.H.S before beginning her Veterinary physiotherapy training in Hampshire with Amanda Sutton (Atlanta Olympics British Equestrian Team Physio).
Clare has been practicing full time in equine and canine physiotherapy in Devon since 1997. During this time she completed the first Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College, London and has built up a large practice covering the majority of the South West. Clare rides regularly, owns show jumpers and is involved with the Mid Devon Pony Club. Gillian Tabor (Category A A.C.P.A.T, MSc (Vet Phys) BSc (Hons) MCSP, HPC Reg) joined the rapidly expanding practice in 2002. Trained in Cardiff, graduating with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 1998 and then worked within the NHS in Hampshire. After training with Anna Johnson (Sydney and Athens Olympics British Equestrian Team Physio), she worked within Anna’s practice in Buckinghamshire. Whilst completing the first Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College, London she moved to Devon to go into partnership with Clare. Amy Cox (Category A A.C.P.A.T, MSc (Vet Phys) BSc (Hons) MCSP, HPC Reg) has recently joined the practice. Amy met Clare when she first moved down to Devon in 1997 and was inspired to take up Veterinary Physiotherapy as a career. She graduated from Coventry University in 2004 with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy and has since worked within the NHS. More recently she has completed the Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College, London |
